The People's Court of Qingyang District in Sichuan province put an end to the marriage of Zhang Yun and Li Shi (not real names), West China Metropolis Daily reported Tuesday.

Zhang never suspected her husband of keeping a big secret from her.

Zhang met Li at the end of 2009 and they fell in love. One year later, they got married.

Zhang always hoped to become a mother, but the couple never reached agreement because Li always said he didn't want a child. After the persistent urging by Zhang, the husband finally let out the secret: he has AIDS.

Zhang sued him in court in September 2011, asking the court to declare their marriage invalid.

The court decided that the marriage was illegal and invalid because Li concealed the disease.
