The International Congress on Drug Therapy in HIV Infection (HIV Glasgow) is taking place in Glasgow, UK, from 28 to 31 October. NAM is the official provider of online science news for the conference.

This year’s conference will feature research on:

  • The safety of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
  • Dual therapy HIV treatment regimens
  • Treatment for heavily treatment-experienced people
  • Dolutegravir and neural tube defects.

For more information on the conference, visit the official conference website at hivglasgow.org and view the online scientific programme.

NAM will be publishing news online at www.aidsmap.com/HIVGlasgow-2018 and sending out a round-up of news in a summary bulletin in the week after the conference. Community Consensus Statement on Access to HIV Treatment and its Use for Prevention

Together, we can make it happen

We can end HIV soon if people have equal access to HIV drugs as treatment and as PrEP, and have free choice over whether to take them.

Launched today, the Community Consensus Statement is a basic set of principles aimed at making sure that happens.

The Community Consensus Statement is a joint initiative of AVAC, EATG, MSMGF, GNP+, HIV i-Base, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, ITPC and NAM/aidsmap
