Coming soon: news reporting from the IAS 2015 conference

The 8th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2015) is taking place in Vancouver, Canada later this month.

NAM is delighted to be the official provider of online scientific news reporting for the conference.

We’ll be reporting on key research presented at the conference, publishing news online at www.aidsmap.com/ias2015 and sending out conference news summary bulletins by email. The bulletins will be available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Russian.

As a subscriber to NAM’s regular email bulletins, you will automatically receive these conference bulletins free of charge.

This year’s conference will feature important new research on:

  • Early treatment for HIV.
  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention, including results of demonstration studies.
  • Experimental approaches to an HIV cure.
  • Economic incentives for HIV prevention.
  • Scale up of HIV treatment to achieve the UNAIDS 90-90-90 target.
  • Treatment of HIV and hepatitis C co-infection.
  • HIV prevention in key populations, including sex workers, men who have sex with men and people who inject drugs.
  • New antiretroviral drugs.
