Treasurer (voluntary)

NAM is one of the world’s foremost providers of information on HIV and AIDS. Our information is aimed at two main audiences: people living with HIV; and healthcare professionals. NAM’s trustees play a crucial role in advancing the charity’s purposes, overseeing the organisation’s strategic direction and protecting its assets and interests.

We are seeking an individual with a recognised accountancy qualification to join our Board of Trustees and fill the role of Treasurer for the charity. The Treasurer guides and advises the Board of Trustees in the approval of budgets, accounts and financial statements.

Note: this is a voluntary role, it is not paid beyond reasonable expenses.

If you are interested in this role, please apply in writing to matthew@nam.org.uk, setting out your experience and interests and how they relate to the requirements of this position.

Community Consensus Statement on Access to HIV Treatment and its Use for Prevention

Together, we can make it happen

We can end HIV soon if people have equal access to HIV drugs as treatment and as PrEP, and have free choice over whether to take them.

Launched today, the Community Consensus Statement is a basic set of principles aimed at making sure that happens.

The Community Consensus Statement is a joint initiative of AVAC, EATG, MSMGF, GNP+, HIV i-Base, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, ITPC and NAM/aidsmap
