How your support makes a difference

NAM is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation, and UK registered charity. We rely on donations from the public, from charitable trusts & foundations and from businesses to enable us to deliver our vital HIV and AIDS information services to people around the world.

Every year, with your support and generosity, we make a big impact on the lives of people with HIV. But in terms of the funding we receive and the number of staff we have, we are a tiny, independent community-based organisation (CBO). Find out more about how we make a difference here.

We are so grateful to every single person, trust, foundation and company who donates, or has donated in the past. It is your commitment and generosity that underpins everything we do.

No matter how big or small – every donation really does make a difference to what we can achieve for people affected by HIV.

One person told us:

The fact that I am still here after 10 years of diagnosis has a lot to do with your work.

But we simply couldn't do it without you.

Community Consensus Statement on Access to HIV Treatment and its Use for Prevention

Together, we can make it happen

We can end HIV soon if people have equal access to HIV drugs as treatment and as PrEP, and have free choice over whether to take them.

Launched today, the Community Consensus Statement is a basic set of principles aimed at making sure that happens.

The Community Consensus Statement is a joint initiative of AVAC, EATG, MSMGF, GNP+, HIV i-Base, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, ITPC and NAM/aidsmap
